Understand how TaskLocal platform fees work for Customers and Professionals.

Customer platform fee

When a Customer accepts a Professional's offer, TaskLocal charges the Customer a platform fee of 3% of the final agreed price.

Example:
Final agreed job price: £100
Customer platform fee: £3

The price for the actual work is separate from the TaskLocal platform fee and is paid to the Professional according to the arrangement for the job.

Professional platform fee

The Professional also has a separate TaskLocal platform fee of 3% of the accepted final agreed price.

Example:
Final agreed job price: £100
Professional platform fee: £3

What does the platform fee cover?

TaskLocal's platform fees relate to services provided through the marketplace, including matching Customers with Professionals, booking functionality and protected communication/contact unlocking.

Platform fees are separate from the price charged by the Professional for carrying out the work.
