Offers & Counter-offers

Learn how offers, counter-offers and the final agreed price work.

Receiving an offer

After a Customer posts a job, Professionals can send offers for suitable jobs.

The Customer can review the available offers before deciding which Professional they want to use.

Counter-offers

Where the counter-offer option is available, a Customer can propose a different price instead of immediately accepting the original offer.

The Professional can then decide whether to accept the counter-offer.

Final agreed price

When an offer or counter-offer is accepted, that amount becomes the final agreed price used for the booking.

TaskLocal platform fees are calculated using the final agreed price, rather than an earlier offer that was not accepted.

After acceptance

The booking then moves through the TaskLocal fee and confirmation process before protected contact details become available as required by the platform.
